Having reached the top, 4 worlds of experience await you: worlds of earth-, fire-, water- and air-spirits, which you can discover with your family.
The Gnome Path offers plenty of exciting stories and information for children!
And for the older ones, the alpine amusement park has swings, bird nests, a climbing frame, a ghost tower, water games, a ghost lake, peg shooting galleries and much more. The mountain spirits "Gspensti & Spuki" are looking forward to your visit!

View of Mozart's city, Salzburg

In the footsteps of Mozart

Stroll comfortably through the old town of Salzburg with its famous street, Getreidegasse, where you'll find Mozart's birthplace. Visit one of the traditional coffee houses and enjoy the famous Austrian cakes and pastries.
The Haus der Natur museum is both educational and exciting - one of the most attractive destinations, and an ideal bad weather programme! Across a total of 8 levels, you will get to explore various topics and special exhibitions.
The water games at Hellbrunn Palace are especially popular with children and teenagers! You never know what's coming next there. Only this much is certain: with the numerous water machines, moving figures, water-breathing animals and fountains, no one will stay dry! And Salzburg Zoo is also in close proximity!
Hallein Salt Mine - TOP excursion destination in Salzburg (© Salzwelten)

Salt Mines

Take an excursion to the Hallein Salt Mines and follow the trail of "white gold". Salt was and is a particularly valuable raw material for Austria. The oldest exhibition mine in the world can be reached on foot or via the mine railway. Here, you'll discover many backstories about salt and the mines. In the boat, you'll glide across underground salt lakes and be propelled down the slide through the mountain. An absolute highlight in Salzburg, not just in bad weather!
We recommend sturdy shoes and warm clothes!
