In Flachau, you have the opportunity to get straight onto some of the most beautiful cross-country ski trails in the Salzburg region. Perfectly maintained trails and a fantastic mountain backdrop are the ideal combination for a long cross-country tour!
The Reitdorf circular trail is particularly suitable for novices, and children with some cross-country experience. With a length of 3.5km, the Reitdorf trail is particularly ideal as the entire route runs along without any incline.
The starting point is located directly at the Spacejet 1 valley station, which is not far from our holiday resort.

Discover Flachau's winter landscape with your family and enjoy the refreshingly cool mountain air this winter! Walk and hike on some 40km of cleared winter hiking trails or trudge with snowshoes through the untouched, sparkling deep snow of the Salzburger Sportwelt.
Deep breathing and relaxation is guaranteed!
En route, numerous rustic huts invite you to warm up before continuing along the most beautiful winter hiking trails.

Ice skating

Gliding on blades through the winter landscape

Ice princesses and ice hockey players wanted! In the neighbouring town of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, there is a new, 300m² natural ice surface in the community park. Here you can enjoy carving a few turns and making pirouettes with your children while the music plays. The pleasure of ice skating is even greater in the open air! The skating rink in Altenmarkt is open daily from 15:00 to 20:00, depending on weather and ice conditions.
Altenmarkt-Zauchensee is just 5 minutes away by car.
